Two topic evenings add to the current exhibition “When patterns found their feet” at Haus der Seidenkultur (HdS), an exhibition dedicated to the lifework of the Krefeld-born textile designer Prof. Annette Pöllmann.
On Thursday 11th May at 18.30 hours, the educationalist and artist who taught for decades at the Textile Engineering College in Krefeld will tell stories relating to her current exhibition in the museum, Luisenstrasse 15.
On Sunday 28th May at 11.00 hours at HdS Professor Pöllmann will meet contemporary witness Christiane Lange, great-granddaughter of the then director of Verseidag, Hermann Lange.  A researcher who has dedicated himself to Bauhaus cult will also participate in the illustrious round table talk which will be moderated by HdS press-spokesperson Dieter Brenner.  Entrance to both events is free.
The exhibition runs until 4th June and can be visited Wednesdays to Fridays from 15.00 to 18.00 hours and Sundays from 13.00 to 17.00 hours.
