On Sunday 9th July at 11.00 hours at Haus der Seidenkultur, the well-known German theatre and television actor Adrian Linke will read from the book “Silk” by the Italian author Alessandro Baricco, a best-seller which has also been filmed.
Linke (picture) is at home on the stage of numerous theatres. Since 2002 he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the theatres in Mönchengladbach and Krefeld where he has performed his solo evening Novecento – The Legend of the Ocean Pianist – for more than a decade. In addition he has appeared in a large number of roles in films and serials. He is above all known for his role as Max Jannsen in the serial “Forbidden Love”.

Maximilian Zelzner (flute) will provide musical accompaniment for the reading at the museum in Luisenstraße 15.  The event is part of the current HdS exhibition “Silk on the Move”.
