Refurbishment measures at Haus der Seidenkultur ongoing and the museum is still operating!
During the restoration and refurbishment phase you can visit our exhibitions in the Crefelder Südbahnhof, Saumstraße 9.

You too can support the restoration of the Haus der Seidenkultur. As an independent museum run on a voluntary basis, we are reliant on your support to carry out the refurbishment measures which will cost some EUR 330,000. Your donation will be used to upgrade the structural engineering and fire security to comply with current regulations.
For this purpose the Association of Friends has opened a special donation account (account number 342642) with the Sparkasse Krefeld (bank code 32050000). It goes without saying that every donor will be sent a donation receipt.
