Next Silk and Velvet Round Table in February

The “Silk and Velvet Round Table” organised by Haus der Seidenkultur (HdS) is taking a break over the festive season. “Due to the numerous parallel activities taking place at the museum, the next “Silk and Velvet Round Table” will not be held until 11th February 2015,” announced HdS spokesman Dieter Brenner. 
And: “The contemplated meetings for the months November, December and January (on the 2nd Wednesday of every month) have been cancelled to allow those who have booked group visits on these dates to experience the museum to the full.

“Following the refurbishment we anticipated greater public interest,” says Brenner “but we have been pleasantly surprised by the actual number of visitors.” HdS is very pleased that the refurbished museum has been so well received.

In the coming year the former programme structures will therefore be reviewed and updated to take account of this development. Information about current events at HdS can be found under www.seidenkultur.de.
