“Luisenstraße in Krefeld – a street dating from the 19th century” is the title of a guided tour through the “Crown Prince District” of Krefeld which will take place on Wednesday, April 10th. Dr. Christoph Dautermann (photo), deputy director of the Museum Burg Linn has agreed to give this tour for Haus der Seidenkultur (HdS). Dautermann is also author of the book „Auf dem Weg in die Moderne. Krefelder Architektur der 1920er-Jahre“. (On the road to a modern world. Krefeld’s 1920s Architecture).

Meeting point for the walk is 17.00 hours in front of the Friedenskirche, Luisenplatz 1. Final destination is Haus der Seidenkultur where a visit to the exhibition “150 Years in the Heart of the Crown Prince District” is on the programme.
