The Chairman of the Association of Friends of Haus der Seidenkultur (HdS) celebrated this occasion with more than 100 companions who, as he said in his welcoming speech to the volunteers, continue to “fly the flag for Krefeld” in the former Hubert Gotzes Weaving Workshop for ecclesiastical textiles in Luisenstrasse 15. The gift from the HdS team was a cheque worth more than one thousand Euros. “Our boss and his wife Ursula (right) should treat themselves to an individual cultural occasion”, said HdS Committee Member Ilka Neumann (left).
